Soul Plates

Soul Plates is an invitation to explore the diverse flavors and traditions that define us as cultures, communities and individuals by reflecting on soul food and our connection to food as a form of resistance, an act of joy, an expression of love and deep down, a part of who we are. Printed postcards and menus encouraged participants to share their stories either online or by mail, culminating in four virtual dinner gatherings complete with playlists, food prep instructions, and guided conversation.
