the Materialist
A compilation of writers and artists from a constellation of creative friends, The Materialist was the inaugural project of Materialist Press. The loose-leaf set includes risograph, letterpress, and silkscreen pieces. A 50-page zine includes illustration, poetry, and photography; the wooden covers are silkscreen printed with an illustration by Danny Shimoda. Edited by Ariel Resnikoff, Livingston Miller, and Julia Warner. Designed and produced as a limited edition of 50, in Santa Cruz, CA, 2015.
